We want disagreement.
Economists, academics, journalists, politicians, business leaders, workers, entrepreneurs and members of the public are invited to interrogate the programme.
The economics
Do the USI, tax and spending assumptions add up?
The incentives
Would the 16-hour requirement strengthen work incentives?
The institutions
Could the healthcare, care, pension and housing reforms be delivered?
What we want to know
- Where are the numbers wrong?
- Which policies won't work?
- What have we missed?
- Which ideas should be strengthened?
- What should be removed?
The objective isn't to defend every sentence. The objective is to find a better settlement for Britain.
